Our Oklahoma Visit

Last Friday we embarked on our second plane ride to Oklahoma where we visited Big Daddy and the rest of the Crewson family. This was Teagan's first trip to the Sooner State!

To start the trip, Teagan delayed our takeoff due to a major bowel movement that had to be changed in our seat because the bathroom on the plane wasn't big enough to change a baby! After a quick change and trashing the white(well not white anymore) onezie, we were on our way. With a full belly and totally relieved, Teagan fell promptly asleep for the majority of the plane ride. Once we landed in OKC, Big Daddy was waiting for us with open arms and a big smile.

During the visit, Teagan was able to meet Uncle Jerry, Aunt Teddie, Kimberly, Christopher and Joni. She had fun playing with Christopher and hanging out with the rest of the family. Saturday we were able to meet up with Team Thompson! Lindsey and Dave recently had a son, Paul, who is a few months younger then Teagan. We went to the Thompson house to enjoy a fun filled day of cooking out, playing, and watching OU Football! I am not sure what you think, but.....Teagan and Paul sittin in a tree.......

The rest of our trip was absolutely amazing. We were able to visit some of our favorite places as well as spending some real quality time cruzing the streets of Norman with Big Daddy. It is really a shame that we live so far away and we anxiously await the opportunity for Big Daddy to visit us in Denver! Hopefully it will be soon.

P.S. Not to be outdone with the performance on the plane ride to Oklahoma, Teagan had a repeat performance on the flight back to Denver.....Do you know how hard/awkward it is to change a stinky diaper in the seat of a very crowded small plane. Lets just say that Doug and I are glad this trip is over!

Grandma Emme and Big Daddy Visit

Last week my mom and dad were able to come and visit for the first time after being in the hospital. We had a wonderful time. We were able to go to several of our favorite restaurants as well as root on one of our favorite football teams...I wonder what team that could be!
